The People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) Dong Neng-3 or DN-3 is a direct ascent missile designed to take out low Earth Orbit satellites. Anti-satellite missiles could cripple US intelligence, navigation, and communications capabilities that are critical for both military operations and civilian infrastructure. The Dong Neng-3 anti-satellite missile was first tested in October 2015.
